About

The art museum for everyone, with an impressive permanent display that is free to visit, built around the collection by Sir William Holburne. The museum also hosts temporary exhibits, performing arts, family events, talks and workshops that make it well worth a return visit (admission charges may apply).

The Grade II listed Georgian building is also worth a visit in its own right, with a daring contemporary extension completed in 2011.

The Garden Café is beautifully situated on the edge of Sydney Gardens, which is a pubic park and historically the Pleasure Gardens of Bath. After visiting the museum and park, we recommend walking down Great Pulteney Street to view the bridge and visit the Victoria Museum.
